Following are just a few of the other areas of Mission outreach that are happening here at Wesley UMC.   Other groups, including the United Methodist Women, the United Methodist Men, Wesley’s Youth Groups, all are working on ways to share the love of Christ within our community.  

River City Habitat for Humanity Work Days

For many years now Wesley church has been a huge supporter of River City Habitat for Humanity and have sponsored many houses.

This year we will be participating in the "100th House in 100 days".  Mark your calendar for August 20th and watch for sign-ups beginning in early July. This is a very special project that we look forward to participating in.  Along with people to work on the house, we will need volunteers to provide lunch and drinks for the workers.  Signup sheets will be posted outside the main door to the Sanctuary during the month of July.    http://www.rivercityhabitat.org/ 

Buddy Pack Program:

Wesley United Methodist Church provides volunteers to help load Buddy Packs during the school year.  http://sharefoodbringhope.org/buddy-packs/  

Plastic Bottles Collected for PETS International:

We have been asked to continue collecting plastic fruit juice containers, plastic milk containers, and apple cider containers for distribution to PETS in Columbia as they utilize them as packing materials for their PETS shipments.  The containers need to be rinsed out, dried, and have the lids attached.  Please place them in the container in the Missions Café  area.
